Victim going to court - help please (urgent)

Was a victim of a crime (some witnessed, some of it not), arrested and charged and court this week, I wasn't the only victim. Once released on bail CPS changed areas allowed so perp has been around our home, not really comfortable with this and mentioned to police several times, latest time earlier this week. Fast forward and there's been a very similar incident (location, threats, appearance) but now more than one perp (this was threatened) and with a weapon. There's several very weird coincidences and the people who told us didn't know the details of what had happened to us (just now we had an incident and part of what happened)

This happened between me last speaking to police and courts phoning me to say there's additional security at the courts.

Would the police tell me if these things were linked or are they not allowed to tell us?

I need more detail to be able to answer, your post isn't very clear. I think you were the victim of a crime, the perpetrator has committed similar against other people around the same time. You are awaiting the court process. In the mean time he has committed further similar offences but with co defendants this time?

It will depend on the nature of the offences as to whether there is any disclosure. Burglaries, unlikely. Violent crime, not unless there is further or increased risk to you. Are you connected to the newest victims at all? Eg family members. Are there bail conditions in place? If so and he's breached them do you have evidence of this?
If he's high risk, a MAPPA or MOSOVO nominal a disclosure is more likely.

Thank you - sorry for not giving enough details.

So the first four victims were all on the same day - I was the last (I have a MERLIN record that triggers a fast response for certain things; I had an immediate response), the previous victims were linked due to a witness having seen two/three of that, and then another victim came forwards.

I was threatened with severe injury / death using a particular weapon - the latest incident involves that weapon but thankfully it doesn't seem like the weapon has actually been used. Yes, the latest was with codefendants (which was threatened and one turned up when police were attending for me, can't remember what happened, but more police came). I don't want to give too much detail (naturally). No connection to anyone new that witnessed it other than the neighbours who have told us.

His bail conditions were stricter originally, then changed - originally he wasn't allowed near our home (the bail conditions didn't name our home but we were covered), then he was just not allowed in one very specific locality (cafe, shop, pub, play park type locality). Original ones were not allowed in a much wider area. He was on our street following the change in bail conditions (but several times, police were aware).

I can't work out what you're speaking about it's too jumbled and coded.

Best speak to Victim Support or take some cheap / free legal advice from a specialist

It sounds very frightening.

I have no knowledge of these things but think you should talk to the police. Have you got a victim support contact? Also is it possible for you to go and stay elsewhere if you feel unsafe?
