Our neighbours have a damp issue in their house which they say is caused by our side path and patio being built too close to their house and covering their air bricks. They want a builder to cut away the edge of our path/patio to allow air to their air bricks. There is also a raised lawn on our side which may be an issue. If we let them do this work, are we admitting liability and setting ourselves up for possible problems in the future? We didn’t do the path/patio, the previous owners did.
