We recently paid a deposit for a holiday, as part of the deal we were able to get a further 10% off the price if we paid the balance in full 100 days before departure (we would have had to pay by march to get the 10% discount)
So today we decided to pay, as our new mortgage deal starts in January.
We have now been told by the travel agent that Virgin have removed the 10% offer and that they do that sometimes, and if we wanted the 10% then we should have payed in full straight away!
Can they do this?
If we had known the offer could be withdrawn then we would have paid it up front.
