Hi there! Wondering if anyone can help with my situation...
We went to a sofology shop and told the assistant we wanted the exact sofa we were sitting on, it had both a foot and headrest mechanical recliner.
When the sofa arrived it only had the foot recliner but the headrest is manual - which is pointless and actually really annoying to use.
The order confirmation on the email said "double recliner" which we assumed meant headrest and footrest but apparently this terminology means double as in "two seats recline(?!)". This is according to the customer service phone people - but how were we supposed to know that's what double was referring to.
The order was almost £3k and apparently the headrest we wanted would have added £100 to the order - which we would have been happy to pay of course as not a great increase for a lot of extra comfort.
It's been 5 days since this sofa was delivered and I'm really unhappy about it.
Do I have any recourse to make them give me the correct order? I'm more than happy to pay the extra £100 but they won't have it and say we are stuck with it.
