This weekends job is to complete a C79 form.
The CAO says holidays should be agreed at the start of the academic year. 50:50 for each parent I’ve encountered a number of problems mainly, no discussion just an they are only available x dates, mum changing her mind (after I’ve booked a holiday abroad) and refusal to agree summer holidays as she doesn’t know what she is doing yet.
There have been a number of other issues, turning up at my house with her boyfriend to shout and swear at me in front of my step children, encouraging the children not to visits (she’s done this twice), turning up on my time (at my mums house, school gates etc), lots of name calling, accusations and criticisms. The children are happy here and are comfortable enough to argue with each other!
My main question is, what should I include in the CAO? Should I include the problems above of stick strictly to the breach and getting a variation to holidays.
I am reluctant to go the C79 route as the Mother told a series of lies in court and even when it was proved they were lies I felt they were just glossed over.
