I’ve posted before about the poor management of a family member’s probate by an independent executor they appointed. This a large well known company and is charging the estate thousands.
Person died May 2022, probate granted January 2023. The family home was sold nearly 6 weeks ago which was the final part of the estate.
Payment to beneficiaries remains outstanding as the accounts aren’t finalised. It’s come to light that there are missing documents- error of executor.
Already been through internal complaints process and Legal Ombudsman who found in our favour on previous poor service. This error is new information.
It’s so frustrating and time consuming.
