Currently on maternity leave. I have given my employer 17 weeks notice that I'd like to return to work early. They have replied saying they'll check with my boss that it will be suitable for the business and get back to me. I was under the impression I only have to give 8 weeks notice, and if I do that they can't prevent me returning. Is anyone able to advise?
