Crashed my car

I was driving down a main road with the intention of turning left. There was a bus parked on the left in the bus stop.
I indicated left and turned, but as I did the bus pulled off driving into the side of me.
At the time I was very apologetic and admitted liability but now looking back it really wasn't my fault.
The buses damage is at the front. The side of my car is taken out.
I have since spoken to the insurance company and have explained that it was the buses fault.
What chance do I stand as I admitted liability at the point of accident?

I don't think admitting fault at the scene is set in stone. If they can prove it wasn't your fault that's what counts

Admitting fault at the scene may be held against you but it isn't necessarily conclusive.

It’s not binding. I’ve had written admissions made at the scene re RTA’s held as not binding as they were not made in contemplation of litigation. Good luck!
