Can I have forum posts removed from a website?

I have asked a website to remove all my posts on their forum. Someone I know has found and shared my posts with personal information that I would rather remain private. The website has told me that they can remove photos but they will not remove any posts or replies I have made, which they sai is subject to the terms of service. Is there anything I can do about this?

Have you checked the t&c from the website there might be something on there about third party sharing?

Also if it's an "anonymous" forum like mumsnet can you not brass it out and say its not you?

No; you don’t have any rights to make a website take down what you wrote.

Under GDPR there is a 'right to be forgotten':

It's no absolute but another forum I used in the past had several members ask for this and have their entire posting history rmoved.

Thank you for your responses. The website has now agreed to remove some information to make my posts more anonymous. I'll definitely be more careful in future!
