Cafcass is doing a section 7 report. There are no concerns raised against me by my ex but I have raised concerns about them. Cafcass is doing a home visit to me but not to my ex. They have asked for overnight stay why would they not be checking their home too if they have asked for overnight stay and non supervised contact and why only check my home?

It is not unusual that Cafcass are visiting you at home. It’s unusual that they are not visiting your ex at home. Maybe it’s because of time constraints before the hearing or maybe they are not recommending contact. If you think your ex should be visited at home you/ your rep can raise this with the Judge at the hearing.

@vincettenoir so would I be able to raise in court if they say about over night stay or him taking our child to his during contact that they have not checked his home?. I am a bit concerned they are not following their welfare concerns considering they said in the safeguarding report they are concerned about his home life.

Yes that’s something you should raise in court. If they have welfare concerns about his home and are not visiting his home perhaps they are not planning to award any contact at home. I don’t know, that’s just a guess.
