Lost parcel advice please

I ordered a parcel from Ebay which has not arrived Tracking shows delivered to home address at 11.15pm last night! To deliver the item i have to open electric gates so there's no way they could have delivered . I've also looked at cctv which confirms no delivery. I've asked the neighbours and looked around the building. I've contacted the seller but he says I'm not entitled to a refund as Tracking shows the item as delivered. What do I do?? The courier is Evri.

Contact evri. I think they take pics of delivery just for situations like this

Try Evri but your contract is actually with the seller so it’s ultimately their responsibility and they can’t wash their hands of it

Evri have to prove to the seller where they delivered it and if it isn't the right place then will have to compensate the seller, who should return your money to you.

Raise a dispute with Ebay/Paypal/credit card however you paid it

Raise a dispute via Ebay - item not received.

It is the Seller's responsibility to deal with the courier and obtain proof of delivery. Not yours.

But you should make a copy of your CCTV footage for the time window they claim delivery was made.
