House rental joint and several liability Onlymyshare

DC is about to enter a house share rental where she (and I as guarantor) will have joint and several liability for rent payments. Does anyone have any experience of Onlymyshare or similar, particularly in the situation where one tenant has failed to pay rent. Thanks

Usually the one who doesn’t pay rent leaves and another renter comes in. The LL expects the full rent. Which is fairly reasonable. That’s why everyone needs to trust each other. So check up who DC is renting with. With a housing shortage, not sure the LL will change the conditions.
