Can we sort this conveyancing issue?

We’re hoping to complete on a house on Monday, however the seller’s solicitor now says that they need the original signed mortgage deed and cannot complete with the faxed copy from the lender (original is being posted tomorrow).

We’ve been told by others that it is possible to complete with the faxed copy and that the solicitor is possibly being over cautious.

It’s complicated but if we don’t complete on Monday we risk losing the house, but we’re not sure whether the solicitor has any leeway here!

Does anyone know whether we can complete with the faxed mortgage deed (and original to follow)?

Thanks

I wouldn't post it, I'd hand-deliver it regardless of distance!

Thanks but just to clarify, the solicitor is saying they need the original mortgage deed in the post from the lender for our buyers to sign.

So the lender has emailed the mortgage deed but our buyer is unable to print and sign the email copy.
