Hello,

I am after any advice please. For context, I have just received a full report from the Independent Complaints Examiner regarding many failures of the Child Maintenance Service.

However, I am not happy with the proposed 'offer'. Next steps would be parliamentary ombudsman.

Anyone ever tried this?!

Do you mean you want someone to review the report and advise on your options?

if so you’ll need to formally instruct (and pay for) a solicitor.

Thanks for the reply - I have passed the report onto a solicitor.

I would really like to hear from anyone who has complained to the Parlimentary Ombudsman. Just to hear about the process etc.
