Hi
I am considering taking a client to court over disputed 5k recruitment fee. They have ignored a letter from the solicitor and the next step is to take them to county court. I don want to keep expenses down and will represent myself and wondered if any lawyers out there had any advice. I was initially optimistic but after researching on the internet I am not expecting justice.
Many thanks

Every case has a winner and a loser. The losers are far more likely to post reviews on places like TrustPilot than the winners. Of course, the courts sometimes get it wrong, but the bigger problem is enforcing judgements.

The NUJ's solicitors produced a guide for their members to use when suing a client for non-payment. You may find it useful - Small-Claims-Court-guide.pdf
