Contacting solicitor-

A First Directions Hearing for Specific Issue is scheduled for tomorrow, a previous hearing had to be cancelled/postponed because the other party couldn’t be served court papers. I was informed of this 1 week in advance by my solicitor.

Yesterday I contacted the courts directly and they said they don’t know if the hearing is going ahead because they are unsure if the father was able to be served.

My solicitor is ignoring me, won’t return calls/reply to my emails. I have no clue if tomorrow is even going ahead. I am obviously represented by a solicitor but am I okay to contact the other party’s solicitor and ask what is happening with the hearing tomorrow? Stressed out, this has been going on for 6 months.
