My nan has dementia, has been diagnosed for a number of years. You can actually chat to her and she's can come across has hard of hearing but generally OK. However, I can go see her and chat about my children and in the next breath she's asking who I am. Anyway my nan has some land, my mother believes my uncle has managed to get her to sign over the land to him. What kind of solicitor would she need to see regarding this? Thanks in advance.

You can get a copy of the Title Register from the Land Registry (check the site you use is ".gov.uk") for £3 yourself and see who owns it, or a Property Law solicitor can do it for you.

To deal with your grandmother's affairs, you need a Private Client solicitor
