What happens when the non molestation order you have runs out, the 12 months is up on mine in Sept and I'm already worrying about what happens next, do I just have to wait for said person to do something?

I know I probably sound silly but it's weighing heavily on me what happens next

Can't you get it renewed? I was told by solicitor it can stay in place so I'm hoping that this is the case! I wil find out.

It simply runs out. They're not intended to be permanent.

If anything has happened since the order was made then you might be able to extend it but there would need to be fresh and recent allegations - in other words he'll have to have breached the order in some way.

Depends on the reason.
Non Mols can be extended, but most barristers will advice the defendant to give Undertakings. The majority of the DV charities accept Undertakings, but it comes with the caveat that you can't extend Undertakings. That's the reason why the barristers suggest them for the defendant.
