Settlement agreements boundary dispute

Long story short, our neighbours instigated court proceedings to settle a boundary dispute, we counter claimed, several stays were issued so we could all reach an agreement, a drop hands settlement agreement has been reached and agreed and court proceedings stayed or stopped, but now neighbours are really dragging their feet with this last bit, and we are worried they will drag this out ad infinitum costing us more £££ we daren't ask our solicitor any questions because every time we communicate we get billed £1,000's. I've tried looking online but I'm still none the wiser, is there a limit to how long they can drag the final settlement out? we just want it done and to stop having to spend money.

No time limits no other than however long thr court imposed the stay for. If they don't settle then the recourse is to restart the proceedings if the stay was indefinite.
