Work refusing to pay

Looking for advice for a friend please.

They have not been paid their final wage from their employer. They were a full time employee and left after 2 months, working their notice period.

The employer (small business) stated that due to the employee having use of a company car and not hitting their sales target, they would not be getting paid.

She is contacting ACAS but I’m wondering if anyone has some advice please?

best thing to do is contac ACAS and then they will give her the relevant paperwork, if the employer will not negotiate or follow through with negotiation, to take the matter to court.

Really depends on the wording of her contract .
