CMS+being listed as a security threat on gmail

Hello, I emailed my child's father on his private gmail account about child maintenance, and my second email to him bounced back, saying "this mail is unauthenticated, which poses a security risk to the sender and Gmail users, and has been blocked." Fair enough, I made an application to the CMS that same day. However, emails I send to gmail accounts (not the father's), bounce back now. It is very frustrating, these are my clients or child's tutor e.g. I know little of emails' technical side, will try to sort it out. Is this worth mentioning to the CMS you reckon? Thanks!

You need to complain to your email provider. This is their problem.

He's reported your email as spam

He's reported your email as spam

That would only affect his account and wouldn't produce the message OP is getting. It means that either OP's email settings are wrong and she is using the wrong outgoing server for her email (e.g. she has email accounts [email protected] and [email protected] and email from her abc.com account is being sent via the server for def.com), or her internet service provider has messed up their DMARC settings. DMARC is a standard set up to help control spam by allowing email recipients (such as Gmail) to determine whether incoming email came from a spoofed sender address.

Thank you, my email provider made the necessary changes. The funny thing is that it happened after I sent him the second message, i thought it was hi causing me grief.
