I started a one year fixed training position in January which included a university course.
I'm not happy within the role and want to leave.
I did not receive my contract until two weeks after I started. The salary was different to what was agreed in the interview and HR said that there had been a change of policy 5 years before so the recruiting manager had given wrong salary info at the interview. They sent additional document by email (over a month after I started) to highlight the salary change which was called student terms and conditions. This document didn't have my name on.
I accepted the contract they sent me.
However in the additional terms and conditions document it mentions repaying full training fees if leave early or if leave organisation within two years (I only have a one year fixed contract). This document wasn't sent to the other new starters.
Now I am worried if I leave I will have to repay fees (no idea what these total) although not mentioned at interview or in my actual contract.
