Claim against LA

Hello,

I recently was walking along the pavement and my foot fell into quite a long narrow stank with no coverings on it. My ankle fell to the side, was cut opened and I'll probably be left with a scar unfortunately on my foot. I also damaged my new boots. Got a bit of a fright as I'm heavily pregnant and almost fell. Thankfully I didn't.

I made a claim via my LA for personal accident and personal property.

I have taken plenty of photos and videos of my injuries, damaged item & the location etc. We haven't received any confirmation from the council that work was being carried out in the said area as it was across from my house.

Im just wondering has anything similar happened to you and what was the outcome?

When did and how did you put your claim in? They have a certain amount of time to investigate and get back to you.
Have you used a no win, no fee solicitor? They'll be able to tell you when LA have to reply by

I received an acknowledgment asking for further information which I have provided. They advised that it can take up to 90 said to complete their investigations. It was a claim form on the LA website and the insurance company got in touch for the above!
