Change in Job Description

My role has recently undergone a review and I have been matched and slotted into a new job. I have now heard from my manager that a couple of responsibilities had been left off my new role profile and now they wish to add these tasks and expect me to do them for no extra pay.

Can my employer just change my role profile and expect me to just accept it?

In general, a job description is not legally binding, so your employer can change it provided the change is reasonable. If you aren't happy, you can tell your employer that you don't agree to the changes and try to reach an agreement.
