I’ve Signed The Wrong Contract !

I was asked at work to update a contract on behalf of some of our subsidiaries.
I raised a few issues along the way about access, passwords to portals, and things not being very clear. I’m not legally trained at all and the contracts were being dealt with as part of a bigger piece of work by HO. No idea why it was delegated down to my level tbh.
Anyway I’ve ended up signing bigger value contracts for all 7 subs.
Work have agreed it’s misleading and the contractor has done it with other companies and they’ve become a nightmare to deal with (they’re looking elsewhere long term)
The contractor has stated because it’s a B2B there is no cool off period so I’m stuck for 4 years with it - is this correct ? I’d there any way I can reverse this ??

They are correct that there is no statutory cooling off period for B2B contracts. The only way you get a cooling off period is if the contract itself specifies one. You are not personally stuck with it for 4 years, but your employer is unless the contractor breaches the contract in a way that allows your employer to terminate it.
