Hi so my ex is avoiding all contact from child maintenance, ignoring calls, texts and sending letters back. CMS have his workplace down and the workplace have verified the address that the letters were sent to is the address they hold for him. BUT child maintainance are considering closing my case due to apparently needing 2 sources verifying his address and bd sending back the letters has sent them into a difficult dilemma’ as now they can’t be sure he actually does live there.
What 2 sources do CMS use to verify the address? I’m just confused as they can see he earns, see the amount he earns and work said yes the address is correct and they can verify… we were all set up and ready until bd sent back the letter unopened claiming he doesn’t live there and now there is a pause and possible closure of my case?!
His family have told me he lives there, i know he lives there, his employer knows he lives there. He has other addresses with doctors etc due to not wanting to be pinned down for various reasons but i am so confused and frustrated.
Any suggestions to help with this whole address thing would be amazing
