Land Registry -entry date for restriction query

Does anyone know whether the entry date recorded on a property title reflects the date that an application was made to enter a restriction ?Or is it the date that the entry was activated ?

If the entry date is the date that the Land Registry were able to get round to alter the date ...how long would it have taken between application and effect ? ( this would be in Oct 2020 if things were slower/faster then )

It's the date that the application was received at HM Land Registry, not when the application was completed by them which could be months down the line.
