Land registry query

Hi

I will try to keep this brief to avoid outing.

I have jointly inherited property with one other person. I am also executor.

I would like to update the land registry with both of our names however it is proving difficult getting proof of ID for that person.

Does anyone know if its possible as executor to update the land registry with their name without their proof of ID or signature?
