DC13 has received letter today re: quite a sizeable income tax rebate.
Divorced, during financial proceedings it came to light XH was given, gambled and hid ££££ during marriage. DC had bare trusts opened when born by PGM.
HMRC says rebate cheque will he sent to XH in 14 days. Likelihood is DC will never see this £ - DC accumulated well over £10k in savings dissipated by XH during marriage. Can I do anything?
