A friend is going through a divorce, and her current solicitor (who has been a bit crap tbh) is retiring soon. Can anyone recommend a good divorce solicitor in Staffordshire/South Cheshire? Current lawyer says it's a complicated situation because it involves financial abuse, ongoing restrictions on her ability to work due to long-term ill health, inheritance, and unfortunately only a small marital pot to split (but no way to avoid solicitors and maybe arbitration/court, her stb-ex is absolutely not going to be even vaguely reasonable, his first offer was downright insulting).
