Discharge Special Guardian Order

A relative would like to apply to the Court to Discharge a Special Guardian Order, and was wondering which form it is she needs to use to do this, is it a Form C1?

Have they gone back to the LA who supported them with the SGO? Who would they be discharging the SGO to? Parents? If parents then SS would need to reassess.

Yes, it would be discharged for the child to go back to parents.

SS need to be informed then. It's not for the Guardian to make that decision without assessment.

Has the Local Authority assessed that the parent is capable of caring for the child?

Where is the child currently living?
