Solicitor to read through severance domuments to check OK

DH is taking a voluntary severance payment. So not quite retirement - not quite redundancy - I am not a legal person. The company will pay £300 for him to get a solicitor to check it. Where would be the best place to look if anyone can help.

Thank you if anyone can

When I was being made redundant I just googled Employment lawyers near me and picked one. I did it all remotely and never even met them and they invoiced my employer. It's pretty standard stuff so just Google and have a look.

Unless your DH's severance is likely to be contentious almost any decent-sized local firm will be able to help. They will usually ask what allowance your DH company is making for the review to ensure it will cover their basic fee or otherwise make you aware that if they have to do any more than the standard amount of work it may cost you.

Thank you @unfortunateevents and @Coraline353 - I have found a local lawyers firm who claims to specialise in this stuff and DH has found another one - so between these two he reckons he will be OK - Thank you both very much for your help

Great! You're welcome and hope all goes ok for your DH.
