My relative owns a house that she has been letting out because she had to move city for her job. the tenant failed to pay this month and on further investigation, it turns out they have been arrested and are being held (serious charges). We have asked the management agency to ensure the house is secure immediately. But what is the correct course of action here? She has decided she wants to sell the house now. can she just issue a section 21? the contract is a rolling 1 month lease.
Would appreciate any advice/signposting.
