Keep getting pulled over

My ex made a malicious phone call to the police after a messy break about my car. It resulted in me now being pulled over 3 times. Each time the police have apologised and updated their notes but my children have been in the car and it’s upsetting them. Can I ring the police to say this?

I think you could email them and ask them to respond.

Will try that, also they said even though they have notes on they can’t guarantee I won’t be pulled over

It sounds incredibly frustrating. I'd ask to speak to someone senior as your ex is using the police as a means to harass you.

Honestly it’s been horrendous, they couldn’t tell me if this intelligence was old or new, I got pulled over twice last year then another time yesterday, but over the same intelligence subject. They were lovely and understand they are just doing their job, but I can’t continue like this!
