A few of months ago I sent an item back to manufacturer for repair, they collected the item from my address. A few days ago said item was returned back to me only it isn't my item (completely different colour, style etc).
I have contacted the company and they are investigating but it isn't looking promising that they are going to be able to find my item. They have not been very forthcoming with providing a solution so I'm just wondering what my rights are here?
It was a very sentimental and high value item that the company no longer make, am I entitled to a new replacement with the equivalent they make today? Or a credit of how much my items original value?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated, Thankyou
