We urgently need to get our 17yo an appt to complete an occupiers consent for our remortgage. Our local solicitors is really busy and the one our lender is using wants £500+VAT, but I’ve found an online solicitors that will do the appt and form over Zoom.

Is this legit do you know, and any other suggestions for solicitors that can see us quickly without costing a fortune?

Does this need to be done for a 17th old living in the house?

My understanding is that it's only if there is an adult who lives in the house but owns no part of it. Generally adult is 18 or over.
