Hi mumsnet
I am new to mums net and have never used a forum or twitter or anything like. This I am disabled which isn't relivent but I some how thought I should mention this now to my conundrum. For the past few months I've been wait for my landlord to do repairs i still say after the repair to be fixed its not but he says different. Now he offered me a sum of money for the repairs Taking so long but it's been a month since I accepted his offer. He's not paid I sent a letter recorded to him 3 weeks after he offered asking if I could hSVE goodwill gesture put in my bank he's ignored that letter. PLEASE can someone advise me what to do. I have the offer in writing company headed note paper. What should I do because he seems to be ignoring me now. I haven't contacted him again since 2 weeks ago now were moving in to month 2 since his offer. Should I just give up on it or hold him to his word. The 3 month it took to repair was hell 5 attempts to fix this rude workmen because you asked for a drop cloth to protect my carpets which are all new it was so frustrating and my carer is getting frustrated at them upsetting me the sloppyest workmen you've ever see.

I’m sorry you haven’t had a reply yet. I think you should talk to Shelter and they will let you know what your rights and options are.
