I now have a Ds I want to make a will do there's no complications should anything happen.

Where can I get a template that says he gets everything I have and who I want to be his guardian should something also happen to his dad?

You can have a simple will written by a solicitor for as little as £150, surely a worthwhile investment to prevent leaving a mess with a non-compliant will.
