Am I allowed to tell people if someone is charged with serious offences but it hasn’t yet gone to crown court? Court is next year, the individual is on unconditional bail and may have access to children.

The best and most appropriate thing to do would be to contact social services emergency number with all the information you have and possibly your local police station. Obviously include the persons name, who you believe they may be in contact with, as much factual info as you have.

They will then act on this promptly.

Sharing anything with other members of the public runs the risk of messing up any court case.

I am surprised the person is on unconditional bail, from personal experience the person I am aware of was put on conditional bail including no unsupervised access with under 18s, they was banned from certain roads and places.
