My mom passed a couple of years ago without leaving a will, so her estate will go to her 3 children. Our eldest sister applied for LOA so she could take full control, but a year later has done very little.
She has keys to one of the properties and will not allow us access (she never gave the keys to our mom even after she inherited it). We want to sell the property but want to see inside, as we feel she is hiding something from us. We have asked numerous times but she just ignores us, and we don't trust her honesty. She is not trustworthy at all and has admitted to committing fraud.
Can we gain access to the property legally or hire a locksmith? We really are considering challenging her grant of administration.
