my mother passed away last year she had six sons said i was to get house as i had been there for her when she became ill and the 5 sons who werent there for her were to get 12 percent each which would be about £2000 each i had told the lawyer dealing with estate i had no issues with them getting an equal ammount which should be about £4000

one of the brothers challenged this wanting more money than the others and half the house it held everything up as he contested will with lies and his lawyers wanted mums medical records and records from care workers and social work.

were now at a point where its been decided that mums will and wishes have to be followed this was decided about a month ago and im just wondering how long it roughly takes to tie this up as i feel its went on so long and me and one of the brothers are wanting closure does anybody have any idea how long?
