Someone bumped my ca

Someone reversed into me, bumped my car. There was anger from me, no damage to either car. He apologised, I was still upset. But that was it. End off. Should I of taken his details and should be of taken mine. It was literally a bump, hardly felt it.

Yes you should have taken his details and it is highly likely under the terms of your car insurance you must report this to them.

In reality, nobody would be swapping details or advising insurance companies for something like that.

I did think that. It’s such a small thing. If there was damage I would get it exchanging details. Thank you
