I'm buying a house and the postcode on the land registry doesn't match the royal mail postcode.
This is because the houses on the street were all built on the bottom of the gardens of the street behind. So they had that address to start with.
My sellers have applied to land registry to get it changed but this is now holding up the sale. I'm just wondering how big a deal this is.
I had dealings with the land registry transferring ownership to me when I split with ex and that took forever. I'm fearing this could take months and months and wondering whether to push for exchange before it us done
