Selling Mum’s House

Grant of Probate due by October. Can I still get things started with selling the house? I’m the sole executor/beneficiary names clearly in the Will but wondered if I need to ‘own’ the property before I’m legally able to sell it.
Getting legal advice but good to have this quick questions that keep jumping in my head answered.

Yes you can. Authoruty to act as executor is immediate as it was granted in the will, but you'll need the grant of probate to be able to sign the TR1 (deed of sale).

You don't need to "own" it before sale. You sell as executor.
