Hi legal minds.

I'm going through a particularly nasty divorce currently (in scotland) been seperate 6 years and only a bit of a way though proofs and my stbxh solicitor seems to really hate me (beyond the norm) it seems to go beyond acting on best interest of his client. I felt it almost seemed personal.

Anyway I've since found out (rummaging old documents ) that he acted against me in my first divorce some 15 years ago & it was all very tragic as my then husband died & this lawyers firm (he's named partner in a we do everything type firm ) wrapped up the estate

My late ex husband lived across from
This solicitors practice & he got him to do the divorce as we had already agreed everything in principle and it was a tick box divorce & I didn't pay too much heed to names at the time.

Is this a conflict. ? Should I be informing my current solicitor

Thanks in advance

No, this is not a conflict of interest.
