I'm looking advice as DH and I got married on a cruise ship, all legal and registered in a Caribbean island.
The problem is I've lost my marriage certificate and after many attempts to make contact I finally got an email reply and they explained how to apply for a new one but 4 months on it hasn't arrived!
Is it possible to just go down to my local city hall and get married again?!
Does anyone know of any legal implications? Basically anytime i need to prove my identification I can't because I don't have a marriage certificate, it's a PITA, also if something were to happen between DH and I (ie divorce or death) how can I actually prove i was married to him?!
