Post redirection

My mums cleaner started a postal redirection 12 months ago saying she wanted to get divorced and didn’t want husband to see her post and she had no family .DM said yes but at time was only for a few months today I went found and letter there from her old address saying redirect runs out in another 12 months . I think only mail from old address going there not anything to Dm actual address . Can’t help but think she is trying to claim she lives there ?

I don't see how redirected post would help her make such a claim. When a bank or similar wants evidence of address, they want to see the address on a bank statement or similar. That will be the original address, not the address to which post is redirected.

Why would she keep wanting to get her mail redirected for such a long time ? She did try to move in for 3 weeks after an op instead of going home to husband and children and wanted by 85 dm to look after her .
