Court order for visitation question - please help!

Is a court order for child visitation only finalised once a final hearing has taken place? I’ve already attended a first hearing and I’ve been told that because we can’t agree on some things, it’s going to a final hearing in December.

Ex partner is saying I’m breaching the court order because I’m not taking him to visit him this week but nobody has informed me there is one in place.

Anybody know if there is an enforceable court order in place or not?

There could be an interim order in place until the court makes a final decision. If there is an interim order, it should have been made clear to you. If you have a solicitor, check with them.

Has nothing been put in place in the meantime?

My niece went through this took 18 months but while the case was going on interim child contact arrangements were put in place until the final decision was made.
I dont know if that's the norm.

If there is nothing in place then you cannot have breached a court order.
Do the DC want to see dad? Is it unsafe for them to see him?
