A loved one of mine has been taken into remand. Most likey in prison till court. I know he will not remember my mobile number and i dont have a land line.

I know which lawyer was representating him as he told me his lawyers name.

I want to get a message to him...but i know i shouldn't expect the lawyer to acknowledge my text or call due to client confidentiality.

I still will send the message to the lawyer in hope she will at least pass on my message.

What i didnt know was....is this acceptable?

Or could it or would it make any situation my loved one is in worse?

Any thoughts?

Or suggestions from people who may have been in a similar situation.

I have emailed gov.uk with my loved ones name, dob asking once consent given then please let me know prisoner number...from that i can send emails at least..
