Tenants in common 50/50 - help

My friend has a mortgage with an ex partner as tenants in common with 50% share each.

They weren’t married and she never paid any money towards a mortgage payment in the three years she lived there. She did pay towards bills for just over a year.

My question is, will the fact she’s never actually paid any money towards the mortgage effect how much she is entitled to?

Legally she owns half the equity in the house, whatever that may be. It may be that her contribution to the household was by housekeeping, looking after things, etc rather than monetary, or she was paying other expenses this doesn't mean her contribution was worthless.
